From the city center (Piazza della Repubblica), head southwest towards Via della Storia. Turn left onto Via dei Calzaiuoli and continue until you reach Piazza della Signoria. From there, walk towards Ponte Vecchio, cross the bridge, and continue straight into the Oltrarno district.
