Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Florence Cathedral (Duomo), head southeast on Via dei Servi towards Piazza San Giovanni. Continue straight until you reach Via Roma. Turn left onto Via Roma, then take the first right onto Via della Repubblica. Follow this street as it turns into Via dei Calzaiuoli, and continue until you reach Piazza della Signoria. From there, walk towards Ponte Vecchio, crossing over the Arno River. Once on the other side, continue straight onto Via Guicciardini, and at the intersection, turn left onto Via dei Velluti. Keep walking until you reach Piazza dei Ciompi, which will be on your right.
