Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the historic center of Florence, head towards the Piazza della Repubblica. From there, walk down Via degli Strozzi until you reach Piazza della Signoria. Continue straight onto Via dei Gondi, which will take you to the Arno River. Once you reach the river, turn left and walk along the riverbank on Lungarno degli Acciaiuoli. Keep walking until you reach the Ponte alla Carraia. Cross the bridge and then take a right onto Lungarno Corsini. Continue straight until you reach the next bridge, Ponte alla Vittoria. Cross this bridge as well. After crossing, turn left onto Via di Villamagna, and continue straight until you reach Viadotto del Ponte all'Indiano, where you will find the Ponte all'Indiano.

    From the Santa Maria Novella train station, you can catch Bus Line 23 towards 'Firenze, Via di Villamagna'. Board the bus and enjoy the ride, which should take about 20 minutes.
