If you are starting from the Santa Maria Novella train station, exit the station and head towards Piazza della Stazione. Walk straight towards Via Nazionale, then turn left onto Via Nazionale. Continue straight until you reach Piazza della Repubblica, and from there, take Via del Corso until you reach Piazza della Signoria. At the piazza, head towards the Uffizi Gallery and then take a left onto Via dei Georgofili. Continue down this street, passing the Arno River on your left. Once you reach the end of Via dei Georgofili, turn right onto Lungarno Anna Maria Luisa di Borbone and follow it until you see Via della Scala on your left.
