If you're starting from the Florence Cathedral (Duomo), head southeast on Via de' Cerretani towards Piazza della Repubblica. Continue straight until you reach Piazza della Signoria. From there, take Via dei Neri to reach the Arno River. Once you reach the river, turn left and walk along the riverbank. After about 10 minutes, you will see the Ponte Vecchio bridge.
