Oil Painting Class in Florence

A must do in Florence

The class was even better than expected. The instructor takes time to introduce the techniques and make sure you understand before starting. Then you get to paint, which was so much fun. The studio is beautiful, very welcoming, and in a great location. Overall, a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend. (Great for beginners)

Paint and Wine Experience with Ponte Vecchio View

Experience to do lovingly with the family

Very good experience. The price we say is a bit high Seen the beautiful environment, with views practically above the Ponte Vecchio An environment that smells of art. With a super experience .. I also expected a little more adequate aperitif. We had for 4 only a small aperitif with some palatine and peanuts For those who do not drink juices or herbal teas. And it is great and for those who drink delicious wine even more Organic and very good. The art teacher who followed us during the lesson was very good, explained the picture step by step and we managed even with a 5-year-old to spend two hours really enjoyable The child paid 30 euros, I think price a little high The girls who followed us also for payment etc are really very kind, good and they also gave us some pictures they designed as we say tribute The service on whatss app to ask info and accurate and fast Brave!

Fresco Painting Class in Florence

A one-of-a-kind experience

A one-of-a-kind immersive experience. Octavio was our teacher. He is a sculptor, artist & owner of Geko Art Studio. He & his wife offer a hands-on experience that includes education of frescoes, making the material from scratch, and creating your own piece of Renaissance art. As the material dries, we were taken down the street to a local coffee shop for a treat and easy conversation. We even got to enjoy time with their 3 year old son Pablo - who is a sweetheart. An enjoyable late afternoon for my husband & I (who are not professional artists- by the way) Not sure yet how we’ll get these frescoes safely home with us but we’ll figure it out. Thank you!
