If you're starting from the Genoa Piazza Principe train station, exit the station and head towards Via Balbi. Walk along Via Balbi until you reach the intersection with Via Garibaldi. Continue in the same direction as Via Garibaldi turns into Via San Lorenzo. Follow this street until you reach the Cathedral of San Lorenzo.
