Walking
If you are near the historic center of Genoa, start at Piazza de Ferrari, the main square. From there, head east on Via XX Settembre for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Via San Lorenzo. Turn left onto Via San Lorenzo and continue straight until you reach the Cathedral of San Lorenzo. Piazza delle Erbe is just a short walk from there. Exit the cathedral and continue straight; you will see the square on your right after about 5 minutes.
Public Transport (Bus)
Find the nearest bus stop that serves routes to the historic center. Buses 1, 20, and 35 often travel to the area around Piazza delle Erbe. Board the bus and get off at the 'Piazza San Lorenzo' stop. From there, walk straight towards Via San Lorenzo, and you will find Piazza delle Erbe just a few steps ahead, to your right.
Public Transport (Metro)
If you are near the Brignole metro station, take Line 1 towards 'Sampierdarena'. Change at 'Dinegro' station to Line 3 towards 'Nervi'. Get off at 'San Giorgio' station. From there, exit the station and walk towards the waterfront. Head left along Via San Lorenzo, and you will reach Piazza delle Erbe in approximately 10 minutes.
