Public Transport
If you are in the city center of Genoa, head to the nearest metro station, which is 'De Ferrari'. Take the metro line to 'Brin' and get off at 'Brin'. From there, transfer to bus line 34 towards 'Forte Castellaccio'. The bus will take you directly to the stop 'Forte Castellaccio'. After getting off the bus, walk a short distance to the entrance of the fortress located at Via del Peralto, 3R.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from Piazza de Ferrari, the central square in Genoa. Head north on Via XX Settembre until you reach Via Garibaldi. Turn left onto Via Garibaldi and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Balbi. Turn right onto Via Balbi and follow it to the end, where it meets Via del Peralto. Continue on Via del Peralto until you reach Forte Castellaccio, which will be on your left.
Taxi or Ridesharing
For a more comfortable option, you can easily hail a taxi from any point in the city or use a ridesharing service like Uber. Provide the driver with the address: 'Forte Castellaccio, Via del Peralto, 3R, 16136 Genova GE'. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.
