Walking
If you are near the historic center of Genoa, head towards Via Garibaldi. Walk down Via Garibaldi until you reach the intersection with Via di San Luca. Turn right onto Via di San Luca. Continue straight until you reach Piazza Sarzano. The square is located at the heart of the city and is easily recognizable.
Bus
From the main train station, Stazione di Genova Piazza Principe, take bus number 35 towards 'Brignole' or 'Piazza della Vittoria'. Get off at the stop 'Piazza Sarzano' which is a short walk from the square. Once you exit the bus, head towards the center of the piazza.
Metro
Take the metro line D from the 'Brin' station. Travel towards 'De Ferrari' station. Once you arrive at De Ferrari, exit the station and head towards Via XX Settembre. Walk down Via XX Settembre until you reach the intersection with Via di San Luca, then turn left and follow the road to Piazza Sarzano.
Tram
If you are near the waterfront, take the tram line 2 from 'Dinegro' towards 'Brin'. Get off at 'Piazza Sarzano' stop. You will find yourself directly at the square, surrounded by shops and cafes.
