Getting There

    From the Herculaneum archaeological site, head east towards Corso Resina (the main road). Turn left onto Corso Resina and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the train station, Ercolano Scavi. From there, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples. After approximately 20 minutes, disembark at the Napoli Porta Nolana station. Exit the station and head towards Piazza Garibaldi. Once at the square, follow the signs for Via Vittorio Emanuele III. Walk straight for about 15 minutes, and you will arrive at Castel Nuovo.

    Starting from Herculaneum, walk to the nearest bus stop (located on Corso Resina). Take the EAV bus towards Naples and get off at the stop 'Piazza Garibaldi'. From there, you can transfer to the Metro Line 1. Board the metro and travel one stop to 'Garibaldi' station. Exit the station and follow the signs for Via Vittorio Emanuele III. Walk straight for about 15 minutes, and you will reach Castel Nuovo.
