    Getting There

    Walking

    From the Herculaneum archaeological site, head east on Via dei Papiri Ercolanesi. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Corso Resina. Turn left onto Corso Resina and walk for about 600 meters. You will pass several shops and cafes. Continue until you reach Piazza del Gesù, a small square. From there, turn right onto Via Roma and walk towards the train station. After about 300 meters, you will see the entrance to the Salerno train station on your left. Take the train to Salerno, which will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Salerno train station, exit towards the city center and head toward Piazza della Libertà. From there, follow the signs to Via dei Mercanti. Continue along Via dei Mercanti until you reach Vicolo Ferrante Sanseverino, where the Giardino della Minerva is located. The garden entrance will be on your right.

    Public Transport

    Start at the Herculaneum archaeological site and walk to the nearest bus stop located on Corso Resina. Take the EAV bus towards Salerno (the bus number is usually indicated on the stop). The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. When you arrive at the Salerno bus station, follow the signs to the train station. From the train station, head towards Piazza della Libertà and then walk towards Via dei Mercanti. Continue on Via dei Mercanti until you find Vicolo Ferrante Sanseverino. The Giardino della Minerva will be on your right.
