    Getting There

    Walking

    From the center of Herculaneum, head southeast on Corso Garibaldi towards Via Roma. Continue straight until you reach the Circumvesuviana train station. Once you arrive at the station, purchase a ticket for the train to Naples. Board the train towards Napoli Porta Nolana. After approximately 20 minutes, disembark at Napoli Mergellina station. From the station, walk towards the waterfront, following the signs for Lungomare. Mergellina is along the scenic promenade, where you can enjoy beautiful views of the bay.

    Start from Herculaneum by walking to the nearest Circumvesuviana station. Once there, buy a ticket for the train heading to Napoli. The journey will take around 20-25 minutes. When you arrive at Napoli Centrale, transfer to the Metro Line 2 in the direction of Pozzuoli. Get off at Mergellina station. Upon exiting the station, follow the signs to Lungomare, where Mergellina is located.

    Bus

    From Herculaneum, you can take a local bus towards Naples. Look for the bus stop near the center and take the bus that says 'Napoli' on the display. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Mergellina stop. Once you get off, walk towards the waterfront to reach Mergellina.
