Walking
From Herculaneum, head towards the coastal road (Via Roma). Walk along Via Roma until you reach the junction with Via Giuseppe Mazzini. Turn left onto Via Giuseppe Mazzini and continue straight until you arrive at the train station 'Ercolano.' From the station, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. After about 30 minutes, get off at the 'Massa Lubrense' stop. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to the bus terminal and take the bus to Nerano. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes.
Bus
Starting from Herculaneum, walk to the nearest bus stop on Via Roma. Board the EAV bus (look for the bus number that goes towards Sorrento or Massa Lubrense). You will need to change buses at Sant'Agnello if necessary, depending on the schedule. After transferring, continue on the bus towards Nerano. Be sure to inform the driver or check the route to ensure you get off at the correct stop in Nerano.
