Walk
From the center of Herculaneum, head towards Corso Garibaldi. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Via Roma. Turn left onto Via Roma and continue walking until you reach the Circumvesuviana Herculaneum train station. From the station, take the train towards Napoli Porta Nolana. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Napoli Porta Nolana, exit the station and follow the signs for the metro. Take the metro line 2 towards Pozzuoli and get off at the Mergellina station. Exit the station and walk towards the waterfront. Continue along Viale Dohrn until you reach Viale Virgilio, where Parco Virgiliano is located.

Begin your journey at the Herculaneum train station. Purchase a ticket for the Circumvesuviana train towards Napoli. Once on the train, sit back and enjoy the scenic ride, which will take about 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Napoli Porta Nolana, transfer to the metro line 2 towards Pozzuoli. After about 10 minutes, get off at the Mergellina station. Exit the station and walk towards the waterfront. Follow Viale Dohrn until you reach Viale Virgilio, where you will find Parco Virgiliano.
