If you are in the center of Herculaneum, head towards the main street, Corso Resina. Walk straight along this road until you reach the intersection with Via Roma. Turn left onto Via Roma and continue until you reach the Circumvesuviana train station, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. From there, you can take the train to Sorrento. The train journey takes about 30 minutes.
