Train and Walk
From Herculaneum, walk to the Ercolano Scavi train station. It's about a 15-minute walk heading west on Via Pugliano. Once at the station, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Positano stop. From the Positano train station, you can walk downhill towards Spiaggia Grande, which is the main beach area. Follow the signs, and it should take about 20 minutes to reach the boats.

Starting from Herculaneum, walk to the nearest bus stop on Via Pugliano. Take the SITA bus towards Positano. The journey will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Positano, follow the signs leading to Spiaggia Grande. It is a short walk down the hill, approximately 10 minutes, where you will find the Positano Boats service along the beach.

Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct route, you can call for a taxi from Herculaneum to Positano. The ride will take about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off at Spiaggia Grande, where the Positano Boats are located. This option offers a more comfortable and quicker way to arrive at your destination.
