Getting There

Walking
Start at the Herculaneum Archaeological Site entrance on Corso Resina. Head east on Corso Resina towards Via Roma. Continue straight for about 800 meters until you reach the intersection with Via Margherita. Turn left onto Via Margherita. After about 300 meters, you will see a small path leading up a hill – this is the trail to Punta Caruso. Follow the path, which will lead you through some scenic views, until you reach the top where Punta Caruso is located.

From the Herculaneum train station, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. Get off at the Torre Annunziata Centrale station. Exit the station and head towards the bus stop located nearby. Take the EAV bus towards Ercolano and get off at the stop for Corso Resina. Walk towards the Herculaneum Archaeological Site entrance. From there, follow the walking directions provided above. Note that the bus schedule may vary, so it’s best to check the latest timings.
