Walking
From the center of Herculaneum, head east on Corso Resina. Continue straight until you reach Piazza del Plebiscito. From the piazza, take Via Marconi, which will lead you towards the train station. Once you reach the Herculaneum Circumvesuviana train station, purchase a ticket for Pompei Scavi. Board the train heading towards Sorrento. The ride will take about 20 minutes. Disembark at the Pompei Scavi station. After exiting the station, follow the signs directing you to the archaeological site, which is a short walk away.
Public Transport (Bus)
From Herculaneum, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Corso Resina. Look for the bus line that operates towards Pompei. Board the bus and inform the driver that you want to stop at Pompei Scavi. The bus ride will take approximately 25-30 minutes. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the entrance of the archaeological site.
