Getting There

Walking
From the Herculaneum Archaeological Site entrance, head southeast on Via dei Papiri Ercolanesi. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Corso Resina. Turn left onto Corso Resina and walk for about 500 meters. You will see the train station on your right, which is the Ercolano Scavi station. From there, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. The train journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Sorrento station, exit and walk towards the main square, Piazza Tasso. Sorrento Car Tours is located nearby, just a short 5-minute walk from the square.

Begin at the Herculaneum Archaeological Site. Walk to the bus stop located on Corso Resina, right outside the site. Look for the SITA bus heading towards Sorrento. The bus ride will take about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Sorrento, get off at the main bus terminal. From there, walk towards Piazza Tasso, which is the main square. Sorrento Car Tours is located within a 5-minute walking distance from the square.

Start at the Herculaneum Archaeological Site and walk to the Ercolano Scavi train station, which is about 10 minutes away on foot. Once at the station, board the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. The ride will take around 30 minutes. After you arrive at the Sorrento station, exit and head towards Piazza Tasso.
