Walking
From the central area of Herculaneum, head towards the Herculaneum archaeological site entrance. After exploring the site, exit through the main gate and turn left onto Via Roma. Walk straight for about 200 meters until you reach the Herculaneum train station (Stazione di Ercolano). From there, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. Get off at the stop for Capri (you will need to transfer at Naples). Once you arrive in Naples, follow the signs to the ferry terminal called Molo Beverello. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Capri. After arriving in Capri, follow the signs to Via Krupp, which is approximately a 30-minute walk uphill. The path will take you through scenic views, so take your time!
Public Transport
Begin at the Herculaneum archaeological site and make your way to the Herculaneum train station (Stazione di Ercolano), located about 200 meters away. Take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento and get off at the Naples Garibaldi station. From there, transfer to the Alibus airport shuttle bus that goes to Molo Beverello ferry terminal. Once at Molo Beverello, buy a ferry ticket to Capri. Upon arrival in Capri, walk towards Via Krupp, which is about a 30-minute uphill walk from the port, and follow the signs to the famous scenic pathway.
