After visiting the site, exit and turn left onto Via Roma. Continue walking straight until you reach the local train station, Ercolano Scavi. Once there, purchase a ticket for the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. Get off at the Positano stop, which is the last stop on the line. As you exit the train station, follow the signs towards the bus station where you can catch a SITA bus to Positano. The bus ride will take you through scenic coastal roads. Once you arrive in Positano, follow the signs to Viale Pasitea, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

From the central bus station in Herculaneum, find the SITA bus that heads towards Sorrento. Ensure you board the correct bus going to Positano. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
