Walking
From the Pompeii Archaeological Park entrance, head south on Viale Giuseppe Mazzini towards Via Villa dei Misteri. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Roma. Turn left onto Via Roma and follow it for about 1 km. You will arrive at the Pompei Train Station. From there, you can take a train to Positano.
Train
At the Pompei Train Station, purchase a ticket for the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. Board the train and enjoy the scenic ride. Get off at the Sorrento Station. From Sorrento, you will need to take a bus to Positano.
Bus
Once you arrive at Sorrento Station, exit the station and look for the SITA bus stop. Purchase a ticket for the bus to Positano. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Enjoy the beautiful coastal views as you travel. The bus will take you directly to the center of Positano.
Walking
After arriving in Positano, if your destination is near the beach or the main square, simply follow the signs or ask locals for directions. The town is quite walkable, with many stairs and narrow streets leading down to the beach.
