Walking
From the central area of Herculaneum, head towards the main street, Corso Garibaldi. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Via Roma. Turn left onto Via Roma and continue walking until you see the train station on your right. Take Via Roma until you reach the larger road, Via E. De Nicola, which leads out of Herculaneum towards Castellammare di Stabia. Follow this road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass a few shops and cafes along the way. As you approach Castellammare di Stabia, keep an eye out for the signs indicating the direction to Villa Arianna. Once you reach Str. Varano, turn left, and you'll find Villa Arianna at Str. Varano, 1.

From Herculaneum, walk to the Herculaneum Archaeological site train station. Purchase a ticket for the Circumvesuviana train heading towards Sorrento. Get off at the Castellammare di Stabia station, which is about a 10-minute ride. Once you exit the station, head towards Corso Vittorio Emanuele and walk straight until you reach Via E. De Nicola.
