Getting There

Walking
From the Herculaneum Archaeological Park entrance, head east on Via dei Papiri Ercolanesi towards Via Roma. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Roma. Turn right onto Via Roma and walk for about 500 meters. At the end of Via Roma, you will see a large crossroad. Take the left onto Corso Resina, and continue walking for another 500 meters. You will arrive at the Herculaneum train station (Stazione di Ercolano).

From Herculaneum train station, purchase a ticket for the Circumvesuviana train line heading towards Naples. Board the train and enjoy the approximately 20-minute ride. Disembark at the Napoli Porta Nolana station. Once you exit the station, head towards Via Marina and walk for about 15 minutes. Follow the signs towards the waterfront, and you will reach Viale Anton Dohrn, where Villa Comunale is located.

At the Herculaneum train station, look for the bus stop for the EAV bus line. Take the bus towards Naples and make sure to get off at the stop for Via Caracciolo. From the bus stop, walk towards the waterfront along Via Caracciolo, then turn left onto Viale Anton Dohrn. Continue walking straight, and you will see Villa Comunale on your right.
