Getting There

Walking
Start from the Herculaneum Archaeological Park entrance. Head northwest on Via dei Papiri towards Via Roma. Continue straight to reach the Circumvesuviana train station, which is about a 10-minute walk. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Capri. Board the train towards Naples and get off at the Ercolano Scavi stop. From there, follow the signs to the port area to catch a ferry to Capri. The ferry ride takes approximately 50 minutes.

Bus and Ferry
From Herculaneum, walk to the nearest bus stop on Via Roma and take the SITA bus towards Naples. It will take around 20 minutes to reach Naples Central Station. Once at the station, follow the signs to the port (Molo Beverello) where you can catch a ferry to Capri. Make sure to check the ferry schedule in advance, as they may vary throughout the day. The ferry ride to Capri takes about 50 minutes.
