Walking
From the Herculaneum Archaeological Site, head east on Corso Resina towards Via Roma. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Roma. Turn right onto Via Roma, and follow it until you reach the Circumvesuviana Herculaneum train station. At the station, purchase a ticket to Napoli Centrale. Once you arrive at Napoli Centrale, exit the station and walk towards Piazza Garibaldi. From Piazza Garibaldi, head northwest towards Corso Umberto I. Continue walking until you reach Piazza Enrico de Nicola. Castel Capuano is located at Piazza Enrico de Nicola, 74.
Train
Start at the Herculaneum Archaeological Site and walk to the Circumvesuviana Herculaneum train station. Purchase a ticket to Napoli Centrale. Once on the train, enjoy a short ride to Napoli Centrale. Upon arrival, exit the train and walk towards the main exit of the station. From there, head northwest to Piazza Garibaldi, then proceed to Corso Umberto I. Continue straight until you reach Piazza Enrico de Nicola, where Castel Capuano is located at number 74.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the Herculaneum Archaeological Site, walk to the nearest bus stop on Corso Resina. Take the bus line that goes to Napoli, which will drop you off at Piazza Garibaldi. From Piazza Garibaldi, walk northwest towards Corso Umberto I. Continue walking straight until you reach Piazza Enrico de Nicola. Castel Capuano is located at Piazza Enrico de Nicola, 74.
