Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Herculaneum Archaeological Site, exit the site and head southeast on Via Pugliano. Turn left onto Corso Resina and continue walking straight. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the Metro station 'Garibaldi.' Board the Metro Line 2 towards 'Napoli Centrale' and get off at the next stop, 'Napoli Centrale.' From there, follow the signs to the exit and head towards Piazza Garibaldi. Once you exit, walk straight for approximately 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Via Giuseppe Garibaldi. Turn left onto Via Giuseppe Garibaldi and continue straight until you see Piazza Gerolomini on your right.

    Start at the Herculaneum train station (Stazione di Ercolano) located on Corso Resina. Take the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples and after about 20 minutes, disembark at the 'Napoli Porta Nolana' station. From here, exit the station and walk straight down Via Porta Nolana until you reach the intersection with Via Giuseppe Garibaldi. Turn left and continue walking until you reach Piazza Gerolomini, which will be on your right.
