From the Herculaneum archaeological site, head south on Via dei Papiri Ercolanesi. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Corso Resina. Turn left onto Corso Resina and walk towards the Circumvesuviana train station (Ercolano Scavi Station). After about 10 minutes, you will reach the station. Take the Circumvesuviana train towards Napoli Centrale and get off at the Napoli Garibaldi station. Once you arrive, follow the signs for the Metro Line 1 and take the metro towards Piscinola. Get off at the Toledo station. Exit the station and walk towards Via Toledo. From Via Toledo, walk towards Piazza Trieste e Trento, which is approximately a 10-minute walk.
Public Transport
Starting from Herculaneum, walk to the Ercolano Scavi train station. Board the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples and get off at Napoli Garibaldi station. From there, transfer to the Metro Line 1 and get on the train towards Piscinola. Disembark at Toledo station. Exit the station and walk straight until you reach Via Toledo. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you arrive at Piazza Trieste e Trento.

If you are near the Herculaneum Forum, exit the site and head towards Via Roma. Walk straight along Via Roma for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the Corso Umberto I. Turn right onto Corso Umberto I and continue straight, which will lead you to the historic center of Naples. As you walk along, keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Piazza Trieste e Trento, which is a central square and should be within a 20-minute walk from your location.
