From Herculaneum, head towards the Herculaneum Archaeological Park entrance. Once you reach the entrance, walk towards the main road (Corso Resina) and turn left. Follow Corso Resina until you reach the intersection with Via Roma. Continue straight, and when you reach the train station (Herculaneum Scavi), you can take a train or continue walking.

From Herculaneum, walk to the Herculaneum Scavi train station. Purchase a ticket to Atrani (you may need to transfer at Salerno). Once on the train, enjoy the scenic ride and disembark at the Salerno station. From Salerno, follow the signs to the bus station and take a bus heading towards Atrani. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes.

If you prefer taking the bus directly, from the Herculaneum Archaeological Park, head towards the nearest bus stop on Corso Resina. Look for a bus heading to Atrani. The bus will take you along the coastal road with beautiful views. Once you arrive in Atrani, you can easily walk to Piazza Umberto I, as it will be a short stroll from the bus stop.
