    Getting There

    Walking

    From the Herculaneum Archaeological Site entrance, head east on Via dei Papiri Ercolanesi. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Corso Resina. Turn left onto Corso Resina and walk for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the Circumvesuviana train station at Ercolano Scavi. Here, purchase a ticket to Naples (about a 15-minute ride). Once you arrive at Napoli Garibaldi station, follow the signs to the Metro Line 1 and take it towards Piscinola. Get off at the Toledo station, which is a short walk from Piazzetta Nilo. Exit the station and head south on Via Montecalvario, then turn left onto Via Toledo. Continue straight, and you will find Piazzetta Nilo on your right.

    Train and Walking

    From Herculaneum, walk to the Ercolano Scavi Circumvesuviana station, which takes about 10 minutes. Purchase a ticket to Napoli Garibaldi station. The train ride lasts approximately 15 minutes. Once at Napoli Garibaldi, transfer to Metro Line 1. Take the metro towards Piscinola and get off at Toledo station (about 4 stops). Exit the station and turn right on Via Montecalvario. Continue walking south until you reach Via Toledo. Turn left onto Via Toledo, and after a short walk, you will arrive at Piazzetta Nilo on the right.
