To reach the Amalfi Coast from Irpinia by car, start your journey by getting on the A16 autostrada (motorway) from your location in Irpinia. Follow the signs toward Naples and continue on the A16 until you reach the junction for the A3 autostrada toward Salerno. Take the A3 towards Salerno and exit at 'Castellammare di Stabia'. From there, follow the SS145 road towards Sorrento, and then take the SS163 which runs along the coastline toward Amalfi. The entire drive takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Be prepared for winding roads and breathtaking views as you approach the coast. Parking in Amalfi can be limited and may incur costs, typically around €2-€4 per hour.
