After approximately 3 km, you will reach the junction where you can either take the funicular or continue on the road. If you choose to drive, turn left onto Via per Brunate. Continue for about 1.5 km until you reach Brunate. Once in Brunate, look for signs to Faro Voltiano, which is located on Via Giacomo Scalini. There is a parking area near the base of the hill, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.

Public Transportation (Funicular)
For those using public transportation, start at Como's main train station (Stazione di Como). From here, take a short walk (about 10 minutes) to the Funicular Railway station (Funicolare Como-Brunate). Purchase a round-trip ticket for approximately €5.50. The funicular ride takes about 7-10 minutes and offers spectacular views of Lake Como. Once you arrive at the top station in Brunate, follow the signs for Faro Voltiano. It’s about a 30-minute walk uphill from the funicular station along well-marked paths. Be prepared for some steep sections!
