Car

If you are driving, start from any location in Lake Como and head towards the town of Varenna. Follow the signs for SP72 and then take the exit for Perledo. Once in Perledo, look for signs directing you to Castello di Vezio. You will park at the designated parking area near the castle. Note that there is usually a small fee for parking.

Public Transportation - Train and Walking

From any location in Lake Como, take a train to Varenna-Esino station. From Varenna, exit the station and follow the signs towards Varenna town center. After exploring a bit, continue walking towards the uphill path leading to Perledo. The walk to Castello di Vezio will take about 30-40 minutes on foot, and the path is well-marked. It's important to wear comfortable shoes as the route is steep.

Public Transportation - Ferry and Walking

Take a ferry from your location on Lake Como to the Varenna ferry terminal. Once you arrive, exit the ferry and follow the path towards the town center.
