Walking
From the center of Limone Piemonte, follow the signs towards Lago Terrasole. The walk is approximately 2.5 hours, partially shaded, and includes both paths and dirt roads with a 700-meter elevation gain. Begin at the Tourist Office to pick up a trail map. No costs are associated with walking to the lake.
Public Transport
From Limone Piemonte, take the cable car (telecabina) up the mountain. From the arrival point, it is a twenty-minute walk to Lago Terrasole. Check local schedules and operation. A single ride on the cable car costs approximately €8.
Car
From the central area of Langhe, head southeast on the SP3 road towards La Morra. Follow the SP3 for approximately 20 km until you reach the town of Cuneo. From Cuneo, take the SS20 road heading towards Limone Piemonte. Continue on SS20 for about 35 km until you see signs for Lago Terrasole. Take a left onto a smaller road leading directly to the lake. Parking is available near the lake, but be mindful of any local parking regulations. Parking costs are approximately €5 per day.
