For five generations, the Pio family has dedicated themselves to producing exceptional Barolo and Barbaresco wines, becoming pioneers in sharing these treasures with the world.
The winery's location is unique, built on four levels, with one even below the water table of the Tanaro River. This ensures a constant temperature, ideal for fermentation and maturation in traditional Slavonian oak barrels. The family owns 70 hectares of vineyards in the Barolo and Barbaresco regions. Today, Federica Boffa, Cesare Benvenuto, and Augusto Boffa carry on the traditions.
