Founded in 1910 by Vincenzo Toso, who moved his business from Asti to Santo Stefano Belbo, and later to Cossano Belbo in 1993, the winery has deep roots in the Belbo Valley. The area is known for its rising Langhe hills and the beloved Moscato grape.Today, great-grandsons Pietro and Gianfranco Toso, along with their cousin Massimo Toso, carry on the family tradition, blending time-honored techniques with modern vinification methods. TOSO SPA specializes in producing high-quality wines, including Moscato d'Asti and Asti Spumante, which have become symbols of the winery. They also produce classic Piedmontese wines like Barbera, Dolcetto, Cortese, and Nebbiolo, as well as vermouth and liqueurs.A visit to TOSO SPA offers a glimpse into the history of winemaking in the region. The Lower Room exhibits agricultural machinery and tools used in vineyards and cellars from the mid-19th century onwards.
