Public Transport
To reach Alp Trupchun using public transport, take the Rhaetian Railway (RhB) to S-chanf station. From there, you can take Bus 7 to the 'S-chanf, Parc Naziunal' bus stop, which is located at the start of the trail to Val Trupchun. This bus operates from early June to mid-October. Check the SBB website for connections. Alternatively, you can walk from S-chanf station to the park entrance, which is approximately a 30-minute walk (2km). A single bus fare costs approximately CHF 3-5.
Car
If driving, follow signs towards S-chanf and then to Val Trupchun. Park at the Prasüras parking lot. Parking is free as of 2023. From the parking lot, the trail to Alp Trupchun begins. Be aware that parking may be limited on busy days. An alternative parking option is Parking Kaserne S-chanf, which is open 24/7 and has 120 spaces. However, pricing information for this parking facility is not available. Another option is Parking Via Trupchun. Long-term parking permits are available at the S-chanf municipal administration.
