Self Guided Bike Tour from Lucca to Montecarlo Wine Roads
Good bikes and service, the route wasn't ideal
The bikes were excellent quality, well maintained and ready to go. The staff were very helpful and got us set up with the app and guide no problem. Riders should note the route includes a mix of sealed and unsealed (gravel) roads. Some of the back roads are in pretty poor condition and should be avoided if it has been raining due to muddy sections (the bikes are not suited for this). Make sure to leave time for stops at wineries or other places of interest along the way.

Self guided bike tour in the nature to Villa Reale
Great day out
Had a fabulous day out on our e-bikes to Villa Reale. Starting out along the top of the city walls and heading out along the river Serchio. Pretty flat generally but the occasional turbo boost from the e-bike was very welcome to our aging limbs. Villa Reale (entrance +£18) was well worth the visit, fascinating and elegant. We picked up the bikes at 11 and had them all day till 5.45
