Bike tour

The bikes are great! We had the "bad" experience of the chain falling off. It would have been nice if we had a screwdriver with us. We had already received a package for the tires, which is very nice especially over the sandy paths. Bike ride was top, navigation was well signposted. Was very nice that they said in the beginning that we would also go on motorways! Maybe for this hot weather a water bottle holder;)

Very comfortable and enjoyable day trip

Marco collected us from a few metres walk from our hotel in a comfortable, spacious shuttle. He then drove us directly to the first town of the 5 of the Cinque Terre cluster- Manarola. About an hour and a half’s drive. He drove carefully and chatted with us the whole way there also providing lots of knowledge about the local area and pointing out many interesting spots that we passed along the way. There was a lot of free leisure time in the Cinque Terre, where we had more than enough time to see all of them at our own pace comfortably and Marcos instructions on how to travel to the next villages on the local train there were spot on. We had time to see all of the villages but chose to only see Manarola, Vernazza and Monterosso. All of these have quite steep hilly walks so keep that in mind if you’re not an able walker. It is accessible though with ramps and lifts, mostly. We managed fine with a toddler in a stroller but it is quite pebbly/rocky on paths. Marco met us later on in the last village and then drove us straight back to our hotel. A very comfortable and enjoyable day trip from Pisa. Thank you Marco, it was very nice to meet you! :)
