    From the city center of Lucca, head towards the nearest entrance of the city walls at Porta Sant'Anna. Walk through the gate and follow the path along the walls heading south. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach the bus station called 'Piazza Verdi'. Here, look for buses heading to Livorno. Purchase a ticket at the bus station or on the bus. Board the bus heading towards Livorno, and it will take you directly to Livorno bus station. From the Livorno bus station, you can either walk (about 1.5 km) towards Piazza del Municipio or take a local bus that stops near the square.

    Public Transport

    Take a local train from Lucca train station to Livorno Centrale. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Livorno Centrale, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located outside the station. Look for local buses that go to the city center or specifically to Piazza del Municipio. Get off at the stop closest to Piazza del Municipio, which is about a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.
