Walking
From the Lucca city center, head towards the main entrance of the Lucca Walls (Porta San Pietro). Once you exit through the gate, turn right and follow the wall path for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the next gate, Porta Elisa. Exit the walls and continue straight on Via San Paolino. After approximately 500 meters, you will reach the train station (Stazione di Lucca). Take a train towards Pisa. After about 30 minutes, get off at 'San Miniato-Fucecchio' station. From there, walk for about 1 kilometer towards the town center, following the signs to Piazza del Popolo.
Bus
From the center of Lucca, make your way to the main bus terminal located near Piazza Verdi. Look for the bus line heading towards San Miniato (check the local schedule for exact departure times). The bus ride should take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the San Miniato bus station, you can walk to Piazza del Popolo by heading southwest on Via Garibaldi and then turning left onto Via Mazzini. Continue straight until you reach your destination.
