I've been to Florence and Pisa many times, but after reading the excellent reviews and watching Stanley Tucci's video about Livorno, I decided to give this tour a try. I'm so glad I did! It was a fantastic experience. Livorno was a wonderful surprise, full of character, and Lucca was just as fascinating. Our driver was friendly, knowledgeable, and took us to places we would never have discovered on our own. He also shared interesting stories and funny anecdotes that made the day even more enjoyable. We explored the lively market, admired breathtaking panoramic views, visited some spectacular churches, and walked along Lucca's impressive Renaissance walls. Every stop had something special to offer, and the tour was well organized from start to finish. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Tuscany. Highly recommended!

Incredible Private Tour

Florence is very unique. The architecture and history was incredible. Unfortunately, it was raining when we went so we chose to leave early. That being said, our tour guide, John Jackson, was the best. He accommodated us with any request that we had. He made us feel like we were family. When we got to Lucca, he found us a great restaurant and then gave us a highlighted tour of Lucca. We all joked and laughed with one another and it made for a fun and amazing day.

Michela is a joyful local who loves her job: I arrived late to my private tour of Lucca and she took it in stride, cheerfully adjusting our route and highlighting what our time together could accommodate without effort or attitude. Her deep knowledge of the area, and of Lucca in particular, is a gift she relishes in sharing. She pointed out where I could explore further on my own, buy silk scarves (silk made Lucca wealthy), and even the perfect spot for lunch after we said our goodbyes. You can’t go wrong with this tour.
