If you're starting from the Matera Cathedral, head east on Via Duomo towards Via San Giovanni. Continue straight for about 400 meters until you reach the intersection with Via S. Pietro Caveoso. Turn right onto Via S. Pietro Caveoso and walk for another 200 meters. Casa Cisterna will be on your left at Ponte S. Pietro Caveoso, 39.

From Piazza Vittorio Veneto, walk down Via Lucana towards the Sassi district. Follow the road as it curves left and becomes Via S. Pietro Caveoso. Continue on this road for about 600 meters until you reach Casa Cisterna, which will be on your right at Ponte S. Pietro Caveoso, 39.
