Walking
Coop. Amici Del Turista is located on Via Fiorentini, 28 in the Sassi area of Matera. From Piazza Vittorio Veneto, Matera's main square, walk southeast along Via del Corso. Turn right onto Via Fiorentini. The Coop. Amici Del Turista will be on your left, a short walk down the street. The walk is roughly 5-10 minutes. Be prepared for some stairs and uneven surfaces.

Public Transport
If arriving by bus at Matera Station (Piazza Giacomo Matteotti), walk southwest on Via Don Luigi Sturzo toward Via Roma for about 200m. Turn right onto Via Roma and continue for another 200m. Turn left onto Via del Corso, then right onto Via Fiorentini. Coop. Amici Del Turista will be on your left. A single bus ticket costs €0.8, or €1.50 if purchased on board.

Taxis are available in Matera, but they may not be able to navigate the narrowest streets of the Sassi. A taxi from Matera Station to Via Fiorentini will cost approximately €10-€15. From the taxi drop-off point, there may be a short walk to the Coop. Amici Del Turista.
