Walking
Casa Cisterna is located in the Sasso Caveoso, one of the two main Sassi districts. From Via Bruno Buozzi, descend the steps to the left near Bar Idris and Residence Corte San Pietro. A sign will point you to the entrance of Casa Cisterna, approximately 20 meters down the path.
Public Transport
From Matera Centrale Station, the Sassi are approximately a 10-minute walk. Alternatively, take the 'Linea Sassi' minibus, which runs every day and reaches the UNESCO world heritage site. A single ticket costs €0.8.
