Castello Baradello: A Stone Sentinel Overlooking Como

Castello Baradello, perched atop a 430-meter hill in Parco Spina Verde, is a symbol of Como and a testament to the region's rich history. The site's strategic importance has been recognized since pre-Roman times, later serving as a Byzantine stronghold before being rebuilt by Frederick Barbarossa in the 12th century.
