Alternatively, ferries on Lake Como connect major towns, and the Como ferry terminal is a short walk from the piazza. Ferry tickets vary in price depending on the destination. A one-way ticket from Como to Bellagio costs €10.40. Day passes are also available.

If driving, be aware that the city center has a restricted traffic zone (ZTL). It's best to park in one of the parking garages outside the ZTL and walk to the piazza. Parking garages near the city center include Autosilo Jasca (Piazza Volta 42) and Autosilo Centro Lago (Via S. Elia 6). Hourly parking rates range from €2.50 to €4.50. Some garages offer daily rates.
