From the third hour, each hour and subsequent hours cost €5. From Monday to Friday, parking for 24 hours costs €74.

    Located in the heart of Como, the Teatro Sociale stands as a testament to the city's rich cultural heritage. Built in 1813 by architect Giuseppe Cusi, the theater's neoclassical design incorporates the ruins of the medieval Torre Rotonda castle. The theater has a rich history, having hosted performances by renowned artists such as Nicolò Paganini and Franz Liszt. Throughout its history, the Teatro Sociale has undergone several restorations and modifications. In 1855, the theater was expanded to accommodate a growing audience. In 1944, it served as the alternative opera house for Milan's La Scala after the latter was damaged during the war. Today, the Teatro Sociale continues to be a vibrant center for the performing arts, hosting a diverse program of events and educational initiatives. The theater is known as “Piccola Scala”, since it hosted the activities of Teatro alla Scala, after the bombing of 1943. Thanks to this cooperation, the finest artists of the period performed in Como. All of the 'greats' sang at the Sociale Theatre: Giuditta Pasta and Malibran, followed by Tamagno, Gigli, Pertile, Schipa, Valletti, Merli, Galeffi, Filippeschi, Basiola, Del Monaco. The Teatro Sociale is committed to accessibility and inclusivity, offering initiatives to ensure that people of all abilities can enjoy its performances. The theater is open more than 300 days a year and is part of the OperaLombardia circuit. It also organizes the annual Festival Como Città della Musica, which brings international shows and performances to the city's streets.
