To get to Piazza Castello by metro, head to the nearest metro station (for example, Duomo station). Take Line 1 (the red line) towards Sesto 1 Maggio FS. After 2 stops, get off at Cairoli station. From there, take the exit towards Castello Sforzesco. Once you are outside the station, walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach Piazza Castello.
